Stoneacre Properties are an estate agent that specialise in sales and letting, based in Leeds. Founded in 2006, with two offices – one in Chapel Allerton servicing North Leeds and another in East Leeds.

The Challenge

Stoneacre Properties not only invest in their team, but also in the community by organising and running multiple charity events throughout the year. When it comes to Christmas time, they spread the cheer by organising a Christmas confectionary collection for a charity of their choice.

The aim of the campaign is to collect 250 pieces of confectionary and if this target is met Stoneacre donate £1,000 to the chosen charity.

 

The Process

For 2019, SOS Marketing took this amazing gesture and grew it into something bigger for both Stoneacre and the charity involved. This year, we decided to campaign for The Homeless Street Angels.

Throughout the project we captured and then showcased a consistent flow of photos and videos to build awareness. This was featured at launch in October all the way up to Christmas eve when the goodies were then distributed to the charities.

We could go on and talk about what we did to make it a success, but our awareness was solely built on being relentless! No clever tactics, just purely delivering the message to our loyal followers and the wider sphere. We deliver content day-after-day, showcasing the generosity of the local community who participated and did there bit to support the collection.

 

Results

The whole community got behind the campaign, with multiple people and businesses taking part in such a fantastic cause.

Due to clever down to earth marketing, 2020 was the biggest year yet! Smashing the target by raising 1,004 pieces of confectionary – over 4 x the target!
