SOS Marketing were tasked with devising a strategy and producing a concept for Pancake Day. We went to market with ‘ALL YOU CAN EAT PANCAKES for £5!’. This was executed on social media as the sole platform for advertising the yearly feast. A budget of £75 was allocated to spend on paid advertising and the results speak for itself when measuring on the metric of cost per engagement. Facebook saw a cost per engagement of 1p, reaching just short of 7,000 people and Instagram ended on a cost per engagement of £0.004, resulting in a reach of 22,244 people. Ultimately, Greasy Pig saw unprecedented demand for the deal selling 700+ Pancakes.
